Unlike a casual search for a dropped toy, where a dog may naturally follow scents, igp requires the dog to maintain a "deep" nose position, closely following a footstep trail and indicating articles encountered along the way. This structured approach showcases the balance between natural instinct and trained obedience in tracking.
Obedience
IGP obedience is a key component of the Internationale Gebrauchshund Pruefung (IGP) dog, showcasing a dog's ability to execute complex commands with precision.
